Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage our financial accounting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the personal branding or professional services industry.
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations (if applicable).

Technical skill:

• Fluent written and spoken English a MUST.

• 3+ years’ Experience.
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap), HTML and CSS3.
• Excellent communication skills.
